Sales and Events Assistant

  • On-site office hours are approximately 8:00am-4:00pm Monday thru Friday and may require weekend or night hours based on need.
  • Position available immediately
  • Manage daily operation of Sales & Events office. Office is made up of a Director of Sales & Marketing and three Sales Managers

Daily Duties:

  • Greet guests upon entering the office and make them feel welcome
  • Field incoming phone calls, leads, schedule tours, and confirm tours
  • Input leads into CRM database, distribute leads to sales managers and maintain database of lost business
  • Manage office EO book and distribute Event Order to other departments
  • Social Media knowledge a must. Update Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, TripAdvisor and VV blog daily. Keep storefronts on The Knot and Wedding Wire up to date
  • Lead tours, create cost summaries and contact leads when Sales Managers are out of the office as needed
  • Maintain relationships with all VV vendors
  • Other office duties as needed

Additional Duties:

 

  • Create wedding, corporate and social printed packages along with assembling sales kits & tour bags
  • Create client folders,  welcome packets and send client surveys post event
  • Assist Sales Managers with creating event orders, printed menus and directional signage pre event
  • Attend department meetings,  tradeshows, tastings and open houses as needed
  • Keep Sales Managers up to date with industry  and networking events and occasionally attend events on behalf of VV
  • Marketing knowledge a plus. Review Google analytics stats at the end and share with management. In addition, create advertisements for magazines and website.
  • Update website weekly
  • Assist in coordinating vendors, design needs, and items for tradeshows and open houses
  • Coordinate and execute community outreach events
